Product Brief

Mineral Insulated (MI) Cables are composed of copper conductors, mineral insulation, filling materials, and copper/aluminum sheaths. They possess advantages that traditional cables do not have, as follows:
  1. Superior fire resistance: Its fire resistance rating not only meets the requirements of Class A in the national standard GB 12666.6 (withstanding 950℃ for 90 minutes) but also complies with the specifications in the British standard BS 6387-1994, including Class A (650℃ for 3 hours), Class B (750℃ for 3 hours), and Class C (950℃ for 3 hours). Meanwhile, it can withstand water spraying and mechanical impacts during combustion.
  2. Long continuous length: Whether it is a single-core or multi-core cable, its length can meet the needs of power supply length, with the continuous length of each cable reaching more than 1000 meters.
  3. Smoke-free and non-toxic during combustion: The insulation uses inorganic materials, which do not produce any harmful gases during combustion and will not cause secondary pollution, making it an environmentally friendly green product.
  4. High safety: Fire-resistant cables can supply power normally in flames (maintaining normal power supply at 950℃ for more than 3 hours), activate fire-extinguishing devices, and reduce fire losses. The copper sheath is an excellent conductor and an ideal grounding wire, which greatly improves the sensitivity and reliability of grounding protection.
  5. Easy transportation, installation, and simple installation accessories: Flexible fire-resistant cables are similar to ordinary cables in terms of transportation, installation, and the simplicity of installation accessories.
