Mineral Insulated (MI) Cables consist of copper conductors, mineral insulation, filling materials, and copper or aluminum sheaths. They offer unique advantages that traditional cables lack:

Superior fire resistanceIts fire resistance rating not only meets Class A requirements of the national standard GB 12666.6 (withstanding 950℃ for 90 minutes) but also complies with the British standard BS 6387-1994, including Class A (650℃ for 3 hours), Class B (750℃ for 3 hours), and Class C (950℃ for 3 hours) . Additionally, it can withstand water spraying and mechanical impacts during combustion .
  2. Long continuous lengthBoth single-core and multi-core versions can meet power supply length needs, with each cable’s continuous length exceeding 1000 meters.
  3. Smoke-free and non-toxic when burningThe inorganic insulation materials produce no harmful gases or secondary pollution during combustion, making it an environmentally friendly product .
  4. High safety performanceThe cable maintains normal power supply in flames (continuously operating for over 3 hours at 950℃), enabling fire-fighting equipment activation and minimizing fire losses. Its copper sheath acts as an excellent conductor and grounding wire, significantly enhancing the sensitivity and reliability of grounding protection .
  5. Easy transportation and installationFlexible fire-resistant MI cables and their accessories are simple to handle, with installation processes similar to ordinary cables .
